Premier Bear is the autobiography of a teddy bear who becomes a soccer legend. I worked on different versions of this character for over 20 years, in the hope that he would ultimately provide for my retirement. "The world's most popular toy meets the world's most popular sport." One version was optioned for TV, and he nearly became the official mascot of Fulham FC, in the English Premier League. Finally I admitted defeat and sent my character to Parliament instead, as Harry Bear MP.

I am posting the final (Fulham) version in response to demands from my public. It is five years old and most of the players mentioned in the text have moved on.
