In view of the chorus of disapproval for the London Olympic logo, I thought there might be a market for an alternative. This is a more complex idea, sketched by Will Tubby, who created the images in Harry Bear MP. A London evening skyline dominated by Big Ben showing 8.12 pm  - 2012. The clouds have formed themselves into the five Olympic rings. Maybe too cutesy, maybe too elaborate to compress into a logo. But you could take the Big Ben idea and incorporate it into the MMXII logo (see previous).
